About Wisdom Woo

Wisdom Woo is a small family Bible brand built on the book of Proverbs. It has two doors: Proverbs for kids 4 to 10, and Proverbs for real life for the grown-ups who raise them.

Why “Woo”

In Proverbs, Wisdom calls out to everyone in the street (Proverbs 1:20, 8:1). Our call and answer comes from that: “Wisdom is calling!” “Woo-hoo!” The two o’s in Woo are a pair of round eyes, looking out to listen.

Who Woo is

Woo is a rock hyrax, one of the four small, wise creatures in Proverbs 30:24-28. Older Bibles call them conies. Woo is a learner who answers Wisdom’s call, never Wisdom herself, so on this site Woo never speaks the words Wisdom says in Proverbs 8.
