Humble is wise
When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.
Talk about it
Pride is thinking you are better than everyone else. Humility is knowing you still need God and other people. This verse says the humble person is the one who becomes wise.

Say “Can you help me?” to someone today, even if you think you could do it alone.

Humility in Scripture is an honest view of yourself before God, which leaves no room for bragging or for putting yourself down. Jesus is the picture of it (Philippians 2:5 to 8). Children often hear “don’t brag”; this verse adds the reason: pride ends in shame, and humility is where wisdom grows.
